Jsou osobnostní rysy hraboše polního provázány s denním rytmem pohybové aktivity?

In this study, the relationship between personality traits and daily activity of Common voles (Microtus arvalis) was investigated. Thirty four voles were captured for tests from the wild and kept separately under stable light (L:D, 12:12) and ambient temperature (19 ? 1 oC) laboratory conditions. Voles were subjected to Open Field (OF) tests to determine their personality traits on locomotor activity and shy-bold gradients. They were then monitored in the PhenoTyper boxes, where their activity was recorded for seven days. In this thesis, it was found that more locomotor active and bold individuals in the OF test are also more active in the PhenoTyper box, are more prone to periodicity and regular ultradian rhythms, and have more activity in the dark. Shy individuals are often immobile (most often in the dark), which weakens the periodicity of their ultradian rhythms. Thus, greater boldness in the common vole leads to greater nocturnal activity, and shyness rather to greater nocturnal immobility. The personality traits were associated with daily activity, periodicity, and ultradian rhythms.
Creativity in visual arts

Motivation seems to be one of the important variables which might have an effect on creativity. It can have a positive but also a negative impact on creativity. In this thesis motivations of fine artists are examined and the extent to which art might effect personality profile of fine artists is considered. In theoretical part, firstly, art, forms of art and the psychology of art are defined. Further artwork as a product of artistic process, structure of personality and specifically the personality of fine artists are described. A complexity of creativity as a phenomenon is presented. Finally motivation from the social psychology of creativity point of view is explained. The aim of this master thesis is to examine certain psychosocial personality traits of fine artists by the Achievement Motivation Inventory LMI and discovered whether there are significant differences in personality traits of fine artists and control group of "non-artists" interested in economy and business (n=63). Our results support the foreign studies results and indicate that artists score significantly higher in Flow, Pride in Productivity and Independence. Psychological Aspects of Artistic Personality

Background: The purpose of the master thesis was to explore connections among artistic cre- ation and some psychological aspects of the personality of artists. Apart from differences in creativity and psychopathology in theoretical part some characteristics of personality through the theories of personality are discussed. A sample of visual art university students and university of economics students (n=49) was tested on method GPOP, which in its core is based on the Jung's theory of psychological types. Conclusions: The results of incident research support the foreign studies results and indicate that artists score higher in "Intuition", "Perceiving" and "Feeling". Conceptualization of the recruitment and selection process from the perspective of recruiters and the use of psychometric and psychological tools

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to highlight the individual conceptualization of the recruitment process and the various psychological insights, methods and tools that are used by human resource practitioners in a recruitment agency. The theoretical part includes the introduction of selected methods of contemporary recruitment (hiring) and the theoretical use of psychological knowledge in this process. The empirical part focuses on the conceptualization of the recruitment and selection process as well as the use of psychological tools and concepts in the daily activities of human resource workers in the environment of the selected recruitment agency. Particular attention will be paid to the use of psychological tools and concepts by recruiters with psychological and other backgrounds. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the recruitment process (and candidate assessment) is perceived by individual recruiters and what differences exist in the process of candidate assessment with regard to the procedures and knowledge that are used in the specific practice of recruiters and how their use varies according to education, length of experience and how their validity (effectiveness) is subjectively assessed. Relations between personality traits and eating habits

This thesis studies the relations between personality traits of the Big Five model (neuroticism, extraversion, agreeableness, openness to experience, conscientiousness) and eating habits. The aim of this work is to map the relation between personality traits and eating habits, to describe the relation of specific traits with specific eating habits and to discuss possible use in practice. Data were obtained using two questionnaires administered anonymously in an online environment. The NEO-FFI questionnaire was used to measure personality traits, and a self- created questionnaire based on World Health Organization (WHO), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and The Czech Society for Nutrition (CSN) nutritional recommendations was used to measure eating habits. Data from 91 respondents (22 men and 69 women) were analyzed. The results showed the association of neuroticism with some eating habits that were classified in the unhealthy group, the association of conscientiousness and agreeableness with some eating habits that were classified in the healthy group. Extraversion and openness to experience were associated with habits from both the healthy and unhealthy groups. Eating behaviour and personality traits of obese patients depending on BMI

This thesis analyses relationships and interdependencies between eating behaviour, perso- nality traits, and BMI in obese patients. In 2019, the prevalence of obesity was alarming in the Czech Republic, 77 % of working men and 56 % of working women were overweight or obese. The basis of successful treatment is to know patients very well, their history, indi- vidual habits and characteristics that led to the development of obesity. Eating behaviour and personality traits are important parts of this knowledge. They can help us to under- stand the mechanisms of obesity's development and thus also contribute to efective and individually adjusted treatment. We study eating behaviour by the Three-Factor Eating Questionnaire and personality traits by the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 and Beck's Depression and Anxiety Inventory in 598 obese patients (average BMI 44 kg/m2). We split the sample into multiple groups according to the values of BMI to test the diferences between these groups with various methods. Together with correlation coefcients and a linear regression model, we evaluate eating behaviour and personality traits' infuence on BMI. Analysis of current views of mutism in specialized Czech and foreign literature

This diploma thesis deals with mutism from the perspective of specialized czech and foreign literature. The character of the thesis is theoretical and the thesis is divided into three parts. In the first chapter, there is mutism described based on the study of czech specialized literature as well as etiology, symptoms, diagnostics and treatment. The second chapter describes the same categories but based on the study of foreign literature. The last part is dedicated to the analysis and comparison of acquired knowledge in particular areas. The most signifiant differences can be found in the area of diagnostics and therapy of mutisms, which are more elaborated in foreign literature than in Czech literature. Some differences appear in all other areas of mutism. The learning theory is the characteristic feature of foreign literature in the field of etiology of mutism, also the social enxiety is the characteric feature in the area of symptoms and treatment; overall we can see a dominant influence of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. The Czech literature provides a number of different views not only on the definition of mutism, but also on the etiology and symptomatology. The diagnostics and the therapy of mutism is not further elaborated in the Czech literature.
Personality traits of individuals addicted to psychoactive substances, alcohol and pathological gamblers

Trying to look for personality structure of individuals dependent on alcohol, psychoactive substances and pathological gamblers. Describes differences in personality structure between the user and the differences between men and women. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the present the accessible knowledge in the field of personality-dependent individuals. The empirical part of the work deals with a research carried out at the pavilions of addictions in a psychiatric hospital Prague Bohnice. In the empirical part of the research hypotheses and set goals that are subsequently evaluated. This thesis provides insight into the personality of addicted individuals and their own research conclusions are largely consistent with findings from the literature.
Interpersonal Check List as a Tool for Assessing Managerial Potential

The aim of this paper is to verify the applicability of Interpersonal Check List for assessing managerial potential, namely leadership potential. The findings of leadership research are summarized and applicability of Interpersonal Check List is theoretically discussed. Available methods for assessing leadership potential are presented, namely personality inventories and Assessment centre methods. Three data sources including 888 respondents in total are used for the analysis. Empirical tests show that employees in leadership positions score higher in several dimensions of Interpersonal Check List, particularly in managerial - autocratic, competitive - exploitive and blunt - aggresive dimensions. The discussion of these findings leads to the conclusion that the mentioned dimensions could be considered as indicators of leadership potential.
